A handful of almonds and a piece of dark chocolate is a healthier alternative. You are throwing out all the roughage and nutrition in the almond skins…and you then have to washup a blender. Keep it simple and healthy.

Hi Megan,

I am wanting to start making my own almond milk, but need to figure out the best place to buy the almonds. Do you find yours on Amazon? Are they organic? I have read that raw almonds may be pasteurized with chemicals (since they can’t use heat). Any insight on this? On another note…we love your recipes! My husband can’t get enough of the recipes I make from your Instant Pot Cookbook. So much good stuff!!
